This is my first showreel :) My idea was to make something unique, not only a compilation in fullscreen with my jobs, so what I did:

01 - Took the Modular Reel from Vucko as an idea that you can make a showreel in a grid style
02 - Searched for refs of different grid composition
03 - Set limits on what to do and not to do, example: the borders between assets need to have the same distance as assets to the edge of the screen
04 - Grouped my projects, like: logos, explainers, UX interactions, etc
05 - Set these groups in where I want to place inside the videos, and define the transition from groups, example: let's take "Project A" In this project we have an explainer and logo animation, so we use this "Project A" as the last one on explainer section to make the connection to logos, so explainer>logos using "Project A" and we do the same with "Project B" logos to UX interactions and so on.
06 - Once I have the blocks, I synced with the music (Marcelinho da Lua - Refazenda)

Final considerations - this was the rough process, if you have interest in learning, feel free to comment and I'll make a detailed step-by-step review. I hope this helps you to evolve and grow, this is my contribution for the community, it's only the beginning.
